I am from small town Locust Grove, Oklahoma where I grew up with my three younger sisters and baby brother. My parents were shining examples of living life to serve others as both a police officer and a nurse. Because of them, I knew from a young age I wanted to grow into a career that allowed me to help others.

After high school, I attended Langston University on the McCabe Honors Scholarship where I played college softball for four years. I graduated from Langston University summa cum laude with my accounting degree in 2020 as the highest ranked student in the School of Business. I then went on to law school at the University of Oklahoma and graduated with honors in 2023. I came to clerk at Barber & Bartz during the summer of 2021 and fell in love with the collaborative atmosphere of the firm and was honored to learn from the bright and talented attorneys who work here. I came back as a clerk during the summer of 2022 and eventually came to work full-time after graduating law school in 2023.

I married my college sweetheart, Jared, in 2020 in the midst of the global pandemic. In my free time I enjoy watching my husband coach baseball, playing softball, riding horses, and spending time with family and friends.
